Wreath Supplies:
- Greenery Wreath Form (Found on sale at Michael’s)
- Red Cardinals
- Birdhouse Ornament (Look at Dollar Store)
- Red Berry Vine (Look at Dollar Store)
- Large and small pine cones (Look at Dollar Store)
- Snow Spray (Look at Dollar Store)
- Red Holiday Berries (Look at Dollar Store)
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Winter Wreath Instructions:
To get started on this wreath, you will want to open up your wreath decorations and get everything ready to add to your wreath.
For the first step, you are going to add faux snow to your wreath. This will give your wreath a wintry appearance.
Because the snow is a spray, you will want to use it in an area with good air circulation. We painted this wreath outdoors on the grass.
Lightly spray the entire wreath with the snow spray and let it dry.
If you want the wreath to be fully coated with faux snow, you may want to consider doing a second coat.
This can help you make sure the snow coverage is even.
Make sure everything is fully dry before continuing to the next step.
Next, loosely wrap the red berry vine around the entire wreath.
Next you will want to use hot glue to attach the large pine cones and place them onto the wreath.
Be sure to press firmly so that the glue attaches the pine cones to the branches.

After you attach pine cones where you want them, it’s time to attach the red birds.
The birds I used from Amazon have clips on them. This makes them easy to attach to the branches.
If you prefer, you can remove the clips and attach the birds with hot glue instead.
Next add some hot glue to the smaller pine cones and add those around the wreath.
For some color I added larger red berries that came in a package from Dollar Tree. They have a wire attached to them that I pulled out of the berry, added a dab of hot glue and pressed firmly onto the wreath form.
Add hot glue to the backside of the birdhouse ornament and press firmly onto the wreath form.
Allow all of the glue to fully dry before displaying your wreath.

- Hang your wreath on your front door. This is the most common place to display a wreath, and it’s a great way to welcome guests to your home. Be sure to choose a wreath that is the right size for your door and that is made of materials that can withstand the elements.
- Hang your wreath on a window. This is a great way to add a touch of holiday cheer to your home, both inside and out. You can hang your wreath on a window facing the street to welcome passersby, or you can hang it on a window inside your home to add a touch of festivity.
- Hang your wreath on a wall. This is a great way to display a wreath in a smaller space, such as an apartment or entryway. You can hang your wreath on a blank wall or above a piece of furniture.
- Place your wreath on a mantel. This is a great way to display a wreath in a fireplace or living room. You can place your wreath on the mantel by itself or surround it with other holiday decorations.
- Place your wreath on a table. This is a great way to display a wreath in a dining room or entryway. You can place your wreath on a table by itself or surround it with other decorative items, such as candles or flowers. These pine cone ornaments would look great in the middle.
- Get creative. You can also get creative with your wreath display. For example, you could hang your wreath from a tree branch, place it on a wreath stand, or even use it as a centerpiece for your dining table.
