I know everyone is using their instant pot to make pretty much everything these days and I’m just getting started with all the good stuff that this amazing machine can make for our family. There are so many easy instant pot recipes that are major time savers and delicious too!
While I still have a lot of instant pot learning to do, this handy kitchen device has definitely been a major time saver for this busy mama! I love that it can do a lot of the cooking for me while I do other things. It’s perfect for easy meals for my family or when making dishes ahead of time to take to get-togethers and gatherings. Lately, I’ve been making lots of meat dishes for my guys and these instant pot pulled pork sandwiches have been the perfect solution for busy weeknights!

Ingredients
Method
- Set instant pot to saute mode and sear the shoulder butt on all sides as best as possible. Turn off saute mode.
- Add in apple cider to just under the fill line. Top with the garlic, cumin, paprika, and salt. Push onions all around the pork shoulder butt into the juice.

- Close instant pot and turn the valve to seal. Set to high pressure for two hours to cook your Instant Pot Pulled Pork. Once the instant pot stops counting quick release the pressure.
- Shred as much of the instant pot pulled pork off the butt as you can down into the juices. Close the lid and turn valve to seal. Set to high pressure for another hour. Once the pot stops counting quick release the pressure.

- Serve on buns with barbecue sauce.
