Colorful Cling Wrap Faux Stained Glass

Looking for a fun and colorful way to keep the kids busy on a hot or rainy afternoon you need to stay indoors? This fun and easy faux stained glass can be made with just markers and regular clear kitchen cling wrap and will keep kids coloring for hours. Here’s how to do it.

Spread out a large sheet of clear kitchen cling wrap and let the kids go crazy drawing different designs with colored markers or sharpies. Allow older children to draw their own designs and for younger kids it can help to draw shapes for them and just have them color them in.

Place a white sheet of paper underneath to help see what has been drawn and colored, and have them fill in entire sections with no empty white spaces. After their drawings are complete, outline the shapes in black to give their designs a stained glass look. (Younger children may need help with this part).

Then carefully press cling wrap to your windows. It will cling on its own.

What designs can your kids come up with?
