Scholastic Shows including Clifford the Big Red Dog and Goosebumps Now on iTunes
For the first time, Scholastic Media’s beloved children’s TV classics, Clifford the Big Red Dog and Goosebumps, are now available on iTunes! Kids and families – and other fans of the iconic shows! – will now have access to their favorite Scholastic shows anytime, anywhere. These globally-celebrated children’s programs are the first Scholastic Media TV series to be made available for audiences everywhere through The Orchard. Other Scholastic Media TV hits will rollout throughout the year on additional digital stores, including Microsoft Xbox, Vudu, Sony Entertainment Network, Target Ticket, M-GO, YouTube, and Google Play. Among the other Scholastic Media TV favorites to be available digitally in the coming months include: The Babysitter’s Club, The Magic School Bus, I Spy, Clifford’s Puppy Days, Maya & Miguel and Animorphs.
Dinosaur Train: “DINOSAUR BIG CITY / DINOSAURS A TO Z DOUBLE FEATURE” on DVD May 13.
Featuring 17 prehistoric adventures aimed at sparking an interest in science within children, this double feature offers a dino-mite way to get more DINOSAUR TRAIN for less! The first of the two DVDs included in the double feature is “Dinosaur Big City.” In this DVD, join Buddy, the Pteranodon family, and all their Theropod friends in a four-part adventure as they travel on the Dinosaur Train to Laramidia, the Dinosaur Big City, for the Theropod Convention. At the convention, the kids reunite with Annie Tyrannosaurus and her parents, Delores and Boris. They all meet the multi-horned Mayor Kosmoceratops and then Buddy and Tiny help King Cryolophosaurus overcome his fear of performing in front of his biggest audience ever. In addition to the four Big City themed adventures, this DVD also includes four more stories – “Troodon Train Day,” “King Cryolophosaurus,” “The Theropod Club,” and “Laura the Giganotosaurus.” The second of the two DVDs included in the double feature is “Dinosaurs A to Z.” In this DVD, viewers will travel on the Dinosaur Train with Buddy, Mom, and Tiny to gather all the dinosaurs in the ‘Dinosaurs A to Z’ song for a picnic at Troodon Town! Join the Pteranodon family on four adventures as they reunite with some dinosaurs they’ve met before, are introduced to new species, and learn about the classification of all 26 dinosaurs on the train. In addition to these four tales, this DVD also includes five more stories, one of which is a special bonus adventure. These five tales are “The Call of the Wild Corythosaurus, “Fast Friends,” “One Small Dinosaur,” “Have You Heard About the Herd?,” and the bonus story “Solstice Time.”

Aimed at viewers between the ages of four and seven, the series follows the adventures of Martha, a loveable dog whose appetite for alphabet soup gives her the power of human speech. Using her speaking abilities, Martha gets jobs, foils bad guys, wins contests, runs for office, and orders lots of pizza! Each episode is an adventure in which Martha, her friends, and viewers will learn an array of new vocabulary words. MARTHA SPEAKS airs weekdays on PBS KIDS (check local listings).

PBS Distribution today announced it will be releasing four stories from PBS KIDS’ popular ARTHUR series on the new DVD “ARTHUR MAKES A MOVIE.” With the start of the summer movie season just around the corner, join the world’s most famous aardvark, Arthur Read, and his family and friends as they make their own movies! Based on the children’s books by Marc Brown, ARTHUR chronicles the adventures of eight-year-old Arthur through engaging, emotional stories that explore issues faced by real kids. Aimed at viewers four to eight, ARTHUR tells stories from a kid’s point of view, while fostering an interest in reading and writing, and modeling positive social skills. ARTHUR airs weekdays on PBS KIDS (check local listings).
