This is a pretty exciting week for us here at Two Kids and a Coupon! After many weeks of chaos, craziness and disruption going on here behind the scenes, we are finally in the home stretch of our long distance move and only days away from moving into our new home. We’ve sold our home in one city and have been living in a hotel until all the paperwork was complete and we finally get to move in this Friday!
We’re excited to have a new home and one of the things that I’m looking forward to is decorating a new space. I love decorating and finding finding new ways to make my family’s home look fun and inviting despite a limited budget. I was excited this month when our friends at Gordman’s invited me to do a special challenge to visit one of their stores and to put my decorating skills to the test and see how far I could stretch $50.
I visited one of their stores last weekend, and as always I love all of Gordman’s fun and colorful home items, pictures and decor.
There were so many great choices it was tough to decide what I wanted to purchase just for this trip. One of the rooms I’m most excited about in my new home is the kickin’ master bathroom, so I decided on some great new furnishings for this bathroom.
We don’t move into our new home until this Friday, so I can’t put my great purchases in place in my new home just yet, but here’s what I bought on with my $50.
- One gorgeous bath mat (folded here but huge and super soft!) $19
- One faux cactus in tin for $9
- One set of faux cactus pots for $12
- Two cute small metal buckets for towels $4 each
- One large metal bucket for towels $7
I used the 20% off coupon (see below!) to get all of this for under $50 at Gordman’s using my coupons and I’ll be heading back next week after we move into our house to get lots more goodies to decorate my house in style!
