Living in a small town in the middle of nowhere, I usually shop online out of necessity for many items. We live 30+ miles from the nearest Target and 100+ miles from the nearest “real” shopping mall. While we’re able to get most everything that we need online, sometimes when it comes to shopping for electronic devices and the best electronics, you just want to see and touch the real thing before you make your purchase. That’s why my husband and I often visit the showroom at Best Buy before we make an electronics purchase.
This week we were asked to visit Best Buy to check out their mobile phones and their mobile accessories. Immediately I was greeted by helpful staff who were there to help and answer all my questions. They were happy to walk me there their different programs and even were kind enough to pose for a picture!
One of the programs the helpful Best Buy team walked me through was the trade-in program where you can get up to $200 Best Buy gift card for trading in your used mobile phone when you sign up for a new plan. This is a great way to make sure your old phone gets recycled and get a little something extra, when you’re signing up for a new cell phone plan anyway.
In addition to the trade-in program, Best Buy offers a Low Price Guarantee, so you really can get your best buys at Best Buy and they’ve currently got a great promotion going on where you can receive a free $50 Best Buy gift card when you purchase a new mobile phone with a two year contract in 2014.
I am getting a new iPhone 5 in a couple weeks as a part of one of my blogging partnerships and the Best Buy team was able to show me some of the great features and make some recommendations for a great case for me to purchase so that I have one handy for when it arrives. They had so many different options and accessories and cases it was hard to know the difference between the benefits and features, but their staff was very helpful, and the in-store displays also helped show you the differences in different products that you just can’t see when you’re shopping online.
Whether you’re buying a phone, smartphone accessories or shopping for other electronic devices, Best Buy is the place to go when you want to touch, feel, and play with all things tech before you purchase. Their team is there to answer all your questions and they have great demo models on hand to let you try out to help you make sure you’re finding the item that is just right for you.
We’re getting ready to make some big electronic purchases for our new home in a few a months so I know we’ll be making many more trips back to Best Buy and their showroom in the future!
