Over the last few weeks, I’ve had a switch in occupations and I’ve been working from home daily instead of an office. It’s been a big change in a lot of aspects, but one of the changes has been being at home all day including for lunch time. While I always make sure my family and kids get a good and healthy lunch on the days they are home from school, I have to admit on the days I’m home alone,or the busy days when I don’t always have much time to eat myself, I’m not always good about preparing myself a hot meal and sitting down to eat.
Since I’m a vegetarian, it’s often a hassle to fix a separate hot lunch just for me that is meatless, and way too often I tend to eat unhealthy options or snack instead of a real meal. However recently I’ve been experimenting with ways to spice and personalize microwavable meals and make them my own.
This week the folks at Michelina’s asked me to to try out their meals and to share with you an easy way to take one of their entrees and Make It Your Michelina’s. Here’s what I’ve fallen in love with.
I purchased Michelina’s Cheese Ravioli in Creamy Alfredo Sauce and decided to make it my own by adding in some breadcrumbs and shredded Parmesan cheese to turn it into a pasta bake. Here’s how to make it.
- One Michelina’s Cheese Ravioli in Creamy Alfredo Sauce
- Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- Vent lid on ravioli and microwave for 3 minutes.
- Open and spoon into microwave safe bowl
- Add breadcrumbs and cheese lightly to top
- Microwave one and a half additional minutes
