As a mom, one of the things I worry about is the chemicals we use in our home and in our yard. We’ve been trying to find more green alternatives to use around our house and in our garden to solve every day problems and one of my latest pet peeves this summer has been the numerous weeds that have popped up around our garden and flower beds.

One natural solution we’ve found that works quickly and uses ingredients you probably already have at home. To get rid of weeds without the chemicals or the hefty cost of store bought weed killers, just mix equal parts distilled white vinegar and clear Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle and thoroughly spray. You’ll see a difference in 24 hours.

What do you use for natural and chemical free cleaning solutions around your home?

  1. I had no idea. I usually get scared to use chemicals because one of my children has a lot of issues one of them being compromised immunity. I love it I just would cut when I got a chance or leave it ugly. I will try this solution.

  2. I am definitely going to try this! Thanks.
