Want to give the gift of wine this holiday season, but not sure where to start? While I enjoy wine, I never know what to pick out for others and I’ve often wished I had someone to help me pick when it comes to sending wine to someone for a special occasion.

We’ve been lucky enough to do several past reviews for the California Wine Club, an amazing service that chooses exclusive and niche wines for you or anyone on you list. We’ve always loved our selections and it’s like we have a special wine knowledgeable friend choosing the wines just for us.

This month we got to sample some great wines from the Daniel Gehrs Winery. We were sent a great Chenin Blanc and Merlot to try out and we loved them both. My favorite of the too were the Chenin Blanc, and it was a nice light wine with a great scent and pear taste. The merlot was a little heavier and more complex taste, but still great.
