@FunnyFaceCran #Food Review – After School Snacks Fun w/ Funny Face Dried Cranberries

I have to admit, I’m often a “grab and go” kind of Mom. Our schedule is crazy, and with a family, a full time job and blog, and my stepdaughter living in another state, we’re constantly on the go. We eat more meals and snacks on the run than I would like, however fortunately for us there are some great healthy and kid friendly options available.

My kids are fruit junkies. Where some parents have to steer clear of the candy aisle, mine go nuts over the grapes, bananas, berries and more. They’ll beg for the healthy stuff, however not all fruit is easy to take on the run or to eat in the car. We’ve been enjoying a lot of dried fruit lately, and we recently had the amazing opportunity to try out Funny Face Dried Cranberries, by Decas Cranberry of Massachusetts.

I’m eatin’ Mom!

These healthy snacks are perfect for lunch boxes, sports practice or after school snacks and they have ½ the sugar, 5 times the fiber and 1/3 the calories of traditional, sweetened dried cranberries. They also have four fun flavor of Rootin’ Tootin’ Raspberry, Choo Choo Cherry, Goofy Grape and Freckle Face Strawberry to give kids a fun variety come snack time.

 Want one Mom??

The handy 5oz packages are resealable, recyclable and store well in kitchen cabinets. In addition to eating them on the go. We recently tried out Funny Face Dried Cranberries in recipes too and they were great!  They’re a great addition to oatmeal, cereal, granola, yogurt, peanut butter sandwiches as a low-sugar jelly substitute, salads, smoothies and more. This past weekend I mixed them into the below recipe and they were wonderful!
