#Toy Review- Creating Creative Play w/ New & Improved Polly Pocket Play Sets

With all the hot weather lately here in Iowa, we’ve been spending a lot more time than normal indoors, and keeping the kids busy can be a challenge —especially when they’re imaginative and full of energy like mine!  Our little ones always are busy with something or another, and one of the toys that’s keeping them busy this week are some fun new playsets from Polly Pocket.

Originally designed to fit in pocket size cases, Polly Pockets have changed some over the years, but have always been a hit with little girls. My step-daughter and niece love the, and they’re a fun and portable little toy that can provide hours of fun.

Allowing girls to transform ordinary situations into extraordinary adventures, Polly Pocket’s new line of small dolls and play sets continue to offer delightful and unexpected surprises. In response to feedback from moms and girls, the popular doll line now features a new Stick ‘n’ Play innovation – suction components that ensure a Polly piece won’t get lost again. Girls can enjoy the pint-sized fun at home or on the go as you head hit the road for summer.

We were recently offered the opportunity to check out some of the latest Polly Pockets and we were pleasantly surprised at some of the new improvements that have been made to these hit little girl toys. With a larger size that’s not as easy to get lost, and little suction bottoms on the pieces to help them stick and stay together, it makes it easier for play and to pose and position the dolls into all kids of fun adventures.

We had the opportunity to check out the Polly Pocket Hangout House Playset and Stick N Play Room. Here’s a little bit about these sets.

The Polly Pocket Hangout House Playset offers a fun variety of adventures with Stick ‘n’ Play sets that help furniture and furnishings stay in place. Every piece in this playset has a suction cup for easy play and positioning and the furniture can be rearranged in funny new ways. Our kids had fun putting furniture in unusual combinations, turning things upside down and sticking it to walls. There’s some fun little secrets and surprises, including elevators, a swing and walls that flip with day-to-night transformations. This set includes a doll house playset, 1 Polly doll, pet dog and house-play accessories.

The Stick N Play Room is a cute little add on set that can be a stand alone playset, or clip easily onto the house for even more adventures. Use this set with the other Stick ‘n’ Play rooms to customize the ultimate house. This set includes 1 doll, the room, furniture, and accessories.

Overall our 8 year old daughter and even our 3 year old son really enjoyed these play sets. They’ve got enough variety to keep creative little imaginations busy, and they’re affordably priced to purchase for an afternoon of fun, a special treat or a birthday gift. Our 2nd grader is already saving some of her allowance to buy some of the additional rooms to add on to Polly’s House for even more adventures.

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Mattel Polly Pocket. I received a product samples and a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
