Review: Fun Halloween Decor w/ Tag’s Spider Pumpkin Holder

Since becoming a mom and step-mom, holidays have become a lot more fun. It’s a blast to pass along holiday traditions to the kids and to decorate for upcoming festivities. While this current heatwave has us painfully aware that summer is here, the truth is fall is just around the corner and I’ve been keeping an eye out for some fun new fall and Halloween decorations.

One cute item that recently came across my inbox that I had to request is this hilarious spider pumpkin stand from Trade Associates Group, Ltd. (tag). If you’ve never heard of tag, they were founded in Chicago in 1975, tag and design and distribute thousands of tag branded housewares, tabletop, home décor, furniture, personal accessory, and gift products.  tag‘s mission is to produce products that are well designed, of high quality, and affordable.  They introduce tag hundreds of new products every six months, and have cool new products for every season and every day of the year.

Tag recently sent me this Spider Pumpkin holder to check out and our whole family loved it! This fun and unique stand can hold a pumpkin or candy bowl and is crafted of wrought iron. The stand features eight “spider” legs that support a sturdy central iron ring and has two spider “eyes”. All you have to do is place a pumpkin on the ring and you’re done!  No messy carving, no dangerous candles, no clean-up.

While we love carving pumpkins, I usually restrict them to outside to keep the mess to a minimum but this stand is a fun way to display pumpkins indoors without smell, or the soot from the candles. You can also place a round serving bowl in the ring, fill it with candy, and set it out for a Halloween get-together, or for trick-or-treaters.

The tag spider stand will be available during the Halloween selling season at home, gift, garden, and specialty retailers nationwide; and at www.tag2u.com. Tag does also have a HUGE selection of super cute home and holiday decor at really affordable prices. there’s several items I’ve found to order and definitely be keeping them in mind as I work on my holiday shopping!

I think I would use this as a spider candy bowl during Halloween. It is an easier way to display pumpkins without the carving mess.

What a cute way to display a pumpkin. I let my grandson paint faces on them instead of carving. This would make a nice display for his art work.
