How Find More Review & Internet Marketing Opportunities for Your Blog or Website

We get a lot of e-mail here at 2 Kids and a Coupon, and one of the common topics of many of them is from new and potential bloggers looking for ideas and suggestions on how to get started, and how to find more opportunities for reviews, giveaways, sponsorship and more. To help answer some of those questions, I’ve got a few planned posts for all of you just getting started, or even just thinking about starting a blog.

If you’re looking for more opportunities to partner with companies, to get product reviews and/or giveaways, or just articles, here’s a few easy ways to get a bit better connected.

Get Connected

If you’re not on Facebook and Twitter yet — what are you waiting for? Now’s the time to get connected. Be sure to follow your favorite companies–you might just be surprised when they follow back. It also never hurts to send them a Facebook or Twitter shoutout to tell them you love them and would like to work with them. All they can say is no, and they might just say yes!

Blogger Communities
If you’re interested in blogging, there’s lots of great groups to join to help you learn about opportunities and to get ideas and support. I’ll talk about some of my favorites in an upcoming post, but one of my favorite bits of advice that I was given, is when you have a blogger you follow that you like, join the groups they belong to too! If they have links or buttons for groups on their site, click through and join. They’re probably a member of these groups for a good reason, and you’ll find some great communities with some like minded individuals.

Marketing Groups

While some bloggers try to do it alone, since my time is limited, I’ve found that partnering with an internet marketing company  can be a great way to obtain reviews, sponsored (paid) articles and advertising opportunities. Some of these agencies obtain their fees from the sponsors and are at no cost to you, and others may charge a small percentage or monthly fee. You’ll have to decide the value of your time and your budget, but personally I’ve found that this is a great way to find some new opportunities that I might not have had the opportunity to pursue on my own. I was even contracted for this post through one!  I’ll share some of my favorites very soon in an upcoming post.

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for OrangeSoda, however, all the points and views are my own.
