We love to make chicken tacos and one of the easiest things we have found to do is boil the chicken (chicken thighs work well, and are cheap) and then just shred the meat. Also the unused, unseasoned shredded chicken can also be used for salads and soups. Great for multiple uses.

My 3.5 year old loves to help me bake! We get a chair for him to stand on and he has his own apron and rolling pin set that my mom bought for him. He gets to help me mix with the wooden spoon, then roll the dough when we’re baking cookies, and of course cut out shapes!

  12. hannah says:

cooking tips – have fun! have necessary equipment, it is hard to have fun cooking if you don’t have the proper pots, bowls, utensils, counter space…. Keep a well stocked pantry so that when the bug to cook hits you have the ingredients needed to make your inspiration. find great recipes from allrecipes.com, print them off and tape to your cupboard door for easy reference while mixing.
